دل در طلب دنیی دون هیچ منه
بر دل غم او کم و فزون هیچ منه
خواهی که به بارگاه شاهی برسی
از کوی طلب پای برون هیچ منه
Del dar talab-e donya-ye dun hich mane / Bar del gham-e u kam o fozun hich mane / Khāhi ke be bārgāh-e shāhi beresi / Az kuy-e talab pāy borun hich mane
Set no heart at all on seeking this lowly world; place no grief over it, be it little or great, upon your heart. If you wish to reach the court of the King, never set foot outside the path of true seeking.
